Overview

Leveraging results from leaders’ EQ-i 2.0 ® Leadership Reports, participants of this session will explore the role of emotional intelligence in effective leadership while gaining the tools to facilitate a leadership session.You will leave with a better understanding of your areas of strength and develop an action plan to increase the effectiveness of your leadership as you walk through the facilitation guide. The trainer will incorporate both group activities and individual reflective exercises in this engaging full-day learning experience.

Instructor

Carrie Arnold, PhD., Associate Director, Gateway Program Seminar, University of Colorado Colorado Springs

Carrie currently oversees the first-year experience seminar program at UCCS. She is an experienced leader and leadership trainer in both higher education and non-profit/for-profit organizations. She is Past President of the Colorado Springs World Affairs Council and recently termed off the National Council of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honor society for first-year students. She also advises her university's chapter.

A certified training partner for Multi-Health Systems, Inc., Carrie trains and certifies individuals in the EQ-i 2.0/360 assessments and consults with local organizations to build curriculum for their leadership and training endeavors. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Research and Policy from University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Her research is in Emotional Intelligence and its impact on student retention and success.

Cancellation Policies

  • Eduology Limited will issue a full refund if a registered attendee sends a cancellation request by email to lisa@eduology.org by March 15th, 2019.

  • We cannot issue refunds after March 15th, 2019 due to costs associated with conference room rentals and catering.

  • If we have less than 2 attendees registered by March 15th, Eduology Limited reserves the right to cancel the event and will issue a full refund to registered attendees.

  • If we have 5 or less attendees registered by March 15th, the conference will be held virtually via live online connection. We will notify you by that date if that is the case.
