Who Should Attend?
This program is ideal for campus professionals charged with improving an existing financial literacy program or those developing a new program (beginning - intermediate level). Though, there will be ideas presented that will benefit even the advanced financial literacy professional. The program is geared to campus educators including Directors, Assistant Directors, and other professionals working within:
Academic Support Programs
Student Success and Student Retention Programs
At-Risk Student Population Retention Programs
The webinar facilitator will walk participants through 4 key areas of successful program design: designing assessment, tweaking the program model, maximizing resources, and effectively marketing. Within each area, our expert facilitator will present a variety of methods that work for programs at each of three stages: “in development,” “still new” and “well-established)" along with a list of available tools and resources. After providing ideas, the facilitator will open the chat room for further brainstorming and idea sharing. During this interactive webinar, the expert facilitator will help attendees:
Integrate assessment in program design
Consider a variety of program models used nationally to help you determine the best model for your student population
Give you great ideas to maximize resources such as utilizing campus finance experts to increase reach, collaborating with other campus programs, etc.
Discuss a number of ways to best market programs and financial literacy ideas to busy, often over-stressed students
Attendees will be able to apply methods discussed in this workshop to develop or improve a college financial literacy program.
