A Unique Conference Experience

Many institutions do not have the budgets to send all their professionals overseeing peer mentoring programs to national conferences each year. Yet, we need to regularly share research, innovations and best practices for ideas, inspiration and camaraderie.

This online conference takes place over four 75-minute webinars and can be attended by everyone on your campus. Moreover, you will receive the recordings to make available for anyone who misses an event. Provide quality professional development for your entire department for less than the cost of sending one professional to a live conference.

Overview

This conference brings college professionals who oversee peer mentor programs together in a conference via online webinar series to share innovative practices and research in college peer mentoring. The conference will feature 8-12 presentations. Each 20-minute presentation will include a chat activity and have additional time for question/answer sessions. The interactive webinar conference series will include ideas on innovative, effective and impactful practices and research in the such areas as:

  • Peer Mentoring Practice and/or Engaging Mentees

  • Peer Mentor Training

  • Peer Mentor Recruitment and Selection

  • Program Management

  • Program Funding and Mentor Incentives

  • Program Assessment and Evaluation

  • College Peer Mentoring Research
