This online conference is an ideal space for college professionals who oversee peer mentor programs to share innovative, effective, and impactful practices and research.

Proposal Deadline and Notifications

Deadline: Submit by 11:59 p.m. on December 2nd, 2019

Notifications: Sent by December 7th, 2019

Presentation Format (20 Minute Presentations)

Timing: Each presentation has a 20 minute time slot and should include a 15-minute presentation with 5 minutes for chat question and Q & A

Format: Each presentation should include 5-8 presentation slides in PowerPoint or PDF format to be submitted 2 weeks prior to the presentation day

  • Peer Mentoring Practice and/or Engaging Mentees

  • Peer Mentor Training

  • Peer Mentor Recruitment and Selection

  • Program Management

  • Program Funding and Mentor Incentives

  • Program Assessment and Evaluation

  • College Peer Mentoring Research

How to Submit Your Proposal

Before submitting your proposal, please provide answers to the following prompts in a Word-type document and save the answers in case you encounter any challenges in completing the form. When you are ready to submit your proposal, open the form above and cut and paste you answers into the form. The form asks you to enter the following information:

  • Presentation Title

  • Presentation Description (150 words max)

  • What is the innovative practice? (25 word maximum)

  • How is this practice uniquely innovative, effective and/or impactful? (25 word maximum)

  • How are you measuring success? (25 word maximum)

  • What results have you observed? (25 word maximum)

  • What is 1 chat question you will ask the audience to engage them in your presentation? (For example, ask participants to briefly brainstorm around a topic…)
