Creating a safe space is critical to effectively leading and mentoring diverse student populations. Whether you are meeting with students individually or in small groups, you need to be able to create an environment that is non-threatening and where students feel they can express themselves honestly and openly, so you can coach them to success. Our expert instructor will teach attendees methods for creating a supportive space where participants know that they won't be judged for what they share. Our expert speaker will give you the skills to create a conversational space for students that is:

  • Safe

  • Stable

  • Non-judgmental

  • Inclusive
