Can your success coaches, students and campus partners articulate what success coaching is on your campus and why it works? Redesign or develop a success coaching program based in theory and research that better supports coaches and students while improving your campus image and visibility.

WHY THIS TOPIC MATTERS

Campuses across the country are utilizing and growing their academic and student success coaching programs. Yet too often, programs lack grounding in the theory and research that could take an ordinary program from good to great.

OVERVIEW

Whether you are beginning a success coaching or looking to improve an existing one, this webinar will help you analyze your students’ needs, determine which theory will best support their needs and implement an effective program based on the approach you choose.

By exploring how Texas State University revised their coaching program into one grounded in theory, you will discover how to develop a bridge between the theory and practice through well-designed student learning outcomes and assessment of those outcomes. You will also explore how theory drives how you train your success coaches. Finally, you will learn how a theory-based program helps you grow your coaching program by better communicating the coaching program’s goals and successes to colleagues across campus.
