Implicit Bias Awareness: Supporting Underrepresented Students and Fostering Belonging
March 20th, 2024 | 12:00 p.m. EST - 1:15 p.m. EST | $395
In this webinar, explore different types of implicit bias and how they impact students’ mental health, academic experience and success. Then gain strategies to build welcoming communities.
Why This Topic Matters
When students feel they don’t belong on campus or within a campus program, they are less likely to persist or succeed in college. Implicit bias hampers students’ sense of belonging, so increasing awareness around this topic and consciously utilizing strategies that encourage feelings of belonging are critical to supporting student success.
